    Native American entrepreneurs Gary and Carmen Davis launch new multimedia venture to highlight business and entrepreneurship in Indian Country

    BELLEVUE, Washington., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — This week, Native American entrepreneurs Gary and Carmen Davis, who are well-known entities across Indian Country through several successful business ventures, have launched Native Business™ – a new multimedia venture aimed at helping indigenous business leaders by highlighting innovation, inspiring agents of change and sparking the creativity of other indigenous and indigenous entrepreneurs. . For almost a decade, Gary Davis led national Native business organizations focused on economic development initiatives to create opportunities in Indian Country.

    Indigenous Business Magazine will report on more than two dozen business sectors in Indian Country through its website, www.NativeBusinessMag.com, a monthly print publication scheduled to launch in November, social media platforms, online videos, events, a podcast and an e-newsletter. The first one Indigenous Business Summit the event is already scheduled for May 13-15, 2019 at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, OK. The video series, which will be produced and broadcast weekly, is a summary of the latest news, entitled “This week in Indigenous affairs.” THE Indigenous Business Podcast will feature news and interviews with business thought leaders to keep listeners informed with today’s unique perspectives on business in Indian Country.

    Sectors that Indigenous Business Magazine will cover, among other things, energy, gaming, banking/finance and federal contracts. The magazine will also feature 16 unique editorial sections such as Features, Profiles, Leadership and The Future – which will cover emerging business leaders from across country India.

    In addition to his role as editor of Indigenous Business Magazine, Gary Davis is best known for his successful acting career in film and television, notably for his roles in Card castle, The Indian in the closetAnd Mortal Combat. Davis also has the distinction of being the first Native American rap artist, “Litefoot”, where he toured through United States, performing and speaking in front of packed crowds. He also served as president and CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED).
