Greek Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion Kostas Fragogiannis was due to leave Greece on Monday evening for a working visit to Seoul until October 6, ANA reports.
The visit was agreed by Greek and South Korean leaders following a meeting in New York and confirms the keen interest of both sides in strengthening and expanding bilateral economic and trade relations.
The vice foreign minister will meet his counterpart and other ministers, as well as Korean business owners from the shipping, high-tech, automobile manufacturing and energy sectors. As noted, there is strong interest in both Korean investments in Greece and Greek-Korean synergies for projects in third countries, notably in the areas of electromobility and energy storage.
