The National Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Public Revenue Authority (AADE) announced on Thursday a 1+1 month extension for businesses to integrate their point-of-sale terminals with cash registers so that this can be done do without technical problems, reports ANA.
The decision was made following requests from point-of-sale and cash register providers, as well as businesses, to meet the demands of a complex, multi-layered effort. Significant progress has been made so far, with 85% of point-of-sale systems and cash registers upgraded and over 60,000 integrations completed, with an additional 20,000 appointments booked in the following days.
