FLORIDA — Seven Florida restaurants made OpenTable’s “Top 100” list, which included everything from a whiskey and ramen restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska, to a big pink tavern in Savannah, Georgia, and even an Eiffel Tower-themed restaurant overlooking the Bellagio. fountains in Las Vegas.
THE list, released Wednesday, features an updated methodology using OpenTable restaurant reviews and new metrics, the company said in a press release. It includes some of the trendiest and most in-demand restaurants in the country.

Here are the Florida restaurants that earned a spot on the list:
The Berne Steak House – 1208 S. Howard Avenue, Tampa

“Perfectly aged steaks, one of the largest wine collections in the world, and an internationally renowned dessert room,” says OpenTable’s description of the famous steakhouse. “These elements have been combining since 1956 to provide guests with a unique dining experience. The premium steaks are cut to order, the vegetables are grown locally on the Bern farm when available and sourced from the best suppliers, and the menu includes 20 caviar choices. Boucan – 350 South County Road, Palm Beach
“The concept, designed by James Beard nominated chef Clay Conley, is an upscale bistro offering progressive American cuisine in a casual, sophisticated setting. The predominant feature of Buccan’s menu is a changing lineup of small plates – showcasing the use of premium ingredients and preparation – delivering an adventurous and memorable dining experience,” OpenTable said.
Latitudes Key West on Sunset Key – 245 Front Street, Opal Key Resort & Marina, Slip 29, Key West
“Inspired by warm breezes and magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico, Latitudes offers an elegant oceanfront dining experience,” the restaurant’s website states. “Start the day with classic egg and tropical fruit dishes, and enjoy fresh local fish and steaks with a bottle of wine from our curated list as the sun sets.”
Lilac – 500 Channelside Drive, Tampa
Already the recipient of a Michelin star earlier this year, Lilac is getting more attention.
OpenTable calls it “a modern Mediterranean restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef and California native John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser’s mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the prism of Florida coastal produce. Drawing on Fraser’s Greek heritage and admiration for Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-focused philosophy using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Lama Restaurant – 415, boulevard Anastasia, Saint-Augustin
The intimate venue asks guests to be aware of noise levels in consideration of other parties dining there, and states that children under 8 are not permitted.
Chef and owner Marcel Vizcarra says: “From the moment you set foot at Llama, our goal is to immerse you in a fine dining experience that allows you to explore the rich culture, ingredients and tastes of my native country, the Peru. Each dish is meticulously crafted. using authentic ingredients that tell a story rich in Peruvian history and cultural influence. Taste the passion of recipes humbly inspired by the chef’s family table, Japanese training and LeCordon Bleu education.
Flavor – 115 E. Park Ave., Tallahassee
“Drew McLeod’s Restaurant, Savor, is a hub of hospitality; a chic and eclectic dining experience in downtown Tallahassee, where we invite you to pull up a chair and linger over good conversation. With a vision of Seasonally inspired, regionally sourced, and creatively prepared cuisine, Chef Brian Knepper brings more to the table…even for the most discerning foodie,” writes OpenTable. “Our bartenders are always in a good mood and proudly offer a carefully selected wine list. Life is short: enjoy it!”
Stubborn seed – 101 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach
“Michelin-starred Stubborn Seed is the result of relentless passion and an unapologetic approach. It aims to unearth the palate’s cravings while creating a reward with every bite. At the helm is the 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist and Bravo’s Top Chef season. 13 Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford,” OpenTable said. “In 2022, Stubborn Seed received a Michelin star in the coveted premier Florida guide.”
Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar.
California and Florida had the largest share of restaurants on the list with 14 and seven, respectively. This includes returning restaurants Bavel and Bestia in Los Angeles, as well as House of Prime Rib and Kokkari Estiatorio in San Francisco.
This year’s list includes restaurants from 63 cities, including Brooklyn, New York; Palm Beach, Florida, and Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Foodies may also recognize some overlap with MICHELIN-starred restaurants, such as Lilac in Tampa, Providence in Los Angeles and Girl & the Goat in Chicago.
“This year’s Top 100 list includes neighborhood gems, hot spots like Bad Roman, MICHELIN-starred spots like Jeune et Jolie, and new-to-the-list restaurants from coast to coast,” said Debby Soo , CEO of OpenTable, in a statement. “We’re also seeing representation across the culinary spectrum, with cuisines like Mediterranean, French and Japanese.”
