Greek Interior Minister Niki Kerameus announced on Friday the immediate start of a consultation process with parliamentary party representatives on postal voting after her return from Paris, during an interview with public broadcaster ERT , reports ANA.
Kerameus, who chairs the OECD Global Strategy Group meeting in Paris, spoke of the keen interest of the Greek diaspora in this specific initiative.
Asked about the possibility that postal voting would also be implemented in parliamentary elections, she said that the specific initiative concerns exclusively European elections and referendums, noting that there is enough time to discuss the specific measure and of its implementation during other elections.
