The U.S. Embassy in Peru invites young Peruvian entrepreneurs to participate in Young Leaders of the Americas (YLA) 2024 program.
This program will have a virtual component before traveling to the United States. Once completed, there will be a four-week trip to different cities across the United States, where participants will work hand-in-hand with leading organizations/companies in their industry and learn different professional skills and abilities. Travel expenses will be fully covered by the United States government.
Requirements:
• Be aged 25 to 35 from/until January 1, 2024.
• Be a Peruvian citizen and resident.
• Be eligible to receive a US J-1 visa.
• Demonstrate a track record of growth in your business or social enterprise for at least two years. The business/entrepreneurship must be based in Peru.
• Not be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
• Master the English language (written and spoken).
• Be available to travel to the United States in March and April 2024.
Applications are open until February 15, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. (Peruvian time).
