The Accademia Museum is showing the remake of one of the best-known giallo films. Sicilian filmmaker Luca Guadagnino delves into the occult themes and dark metaphors of Dario Argento’s original 1977 film. Dakota Johnson plays a new American student at a Berlin dance academy run by a group of witches, including Tilda’s mother Helena Markos Swinton. The film also stars Mia Goth and Chloë Grace Moretz. Suspiria screenings on Wednesday September 6 at 8 p.m. at the museum.

- Sprinkles’ Chef series continues with San Diego-based Chef Claudette Zepeda creating the Cupcake La Gloria, inspired by her favorite childhood sweets. The cupcake is a caramel cake with pecans, a core of dulce de leche, salted caramel frosting and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. The item is returning to Sprinkles bakeries nationwide to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (available September 4 through October 1).
- Pick your own Roma tomatoes at the Moorpark location of Underwood Family Farms. Although the main picking took place this weekend, the fields will be open on Monday, September 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the tomatoes are fully harvested. Take-out Roma are 40¢ a pound.
- In honor of the release of My Fat Greek Wedding 3, The Great Greek in Sherman Oaks offers a My Fat Greek Wedding 3 lunch on Thursday, September 7, while supplies last. Also, on Thursday, Pinkberry stores are offering special yogurt desserts for the Greek wedding.
