Queens, New York – Renowned Greek singer Manolis Mitsias will delight audiences with his timeless melodies at the Queens Theater in the Park on September 23. This highly anticipated concert is a celebration of Mitsias’ “50 golden years” in the music industry and promises to be an evening of musical magic and cultural significance.
The concert is proudly held under the esteemed auspices of the Hellenic Republic, highlighting the importance of Greek culture on the international stage. It is also made possible through the gracious assistance of many organizations dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Hellenism, including the Pan-Cypriot Association of America, the Hellenic American Project at Queens College, PSEKA, the Federation Cypriot organizations in America, AHEPA, Chian Federation and several other esteemed expatriate organizations.
All net proceeds from this event will be allocated to support two invaluable programs at Queens College: Byzantine Studies and Modern Greek Studies and the Hellenic American Project. These programmes, which play an essential role in the preservation and dissemination of Greek culture and heritage, are currently threatened with closure due to financial constraints. Your presence at this concert will directly contribute to their sustainability.
