WHITE PLAINS, NY, March 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — HEINEKEN UNITED STATES And Black ambitiona non-profit organization created by Pharrell Williams to close the opportunity and wealth gap by supporting Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, today announced a partnership to provide funding and mentoring opportunities for Black and Latinx founders across the United States. The partnership is based on HEINEKEN United States responsible management commitment to support economic development and empowerment of underrepresented and underresourced communities.
As the sole beverage and alcohol sponsor, HEINEKEN UNITED STATES will strengthen Black Ambition’s vision through financial and event support, as well as through unique content and personalized executive coaching sessions for founders of the Black Ambition network. In addition to a monetary donation, HEINEKEN UNITED STATES will lead a series of learning labs that leverage HEINEKEN UNITED STATES expertise to discuss building an innovative, category-defining business. Additionally, HEINEKEN UNITED STATES will sponsor the Black Ambition podcast and “Decode the Encoded” speaker series to discuss practical issues founders face.

To do this, HEINEKEN UNITED STATES also launched a self-service platform, Community Compass, to help employees identify volunteer opportunities and enable them to give back to their community in a way that matters to them.
