The National Arts Club has been celebrating International Archeology Day for several years, organizing lectures that it has posted publicly on YouTube to share with asynchronous viewers! On October 14, 2020, Ms. Vanessa Frazier, Permanent Representative of Malta to the United Nations, gave a lecture alongside the curators of Heritage Malta on the long history of his country.
This year in June, His Excellency Ambassador Evangelos C. Sekeris, Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations, gave a lecture on Amphictyony for the Club, which is also available online.
Stay tuned for the DIA event hosted this year by the NAC. The speaker will be the Honorable Michalis S. Firillas, Consul General of Cyprus, and he will speak at the NAC, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York, at 6:30 p.m. on October 2.
