The Greek American community of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, hosted its first “Greek Heritage Night” with the Lancaster Barnstormers on Thursday, August 19 to raise funds for Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. The event was a huge success with people traveling from near and far to watch the game.
“Father Hector planned that all funds raised at the event would be donated to the fires in Greece through the international Orthodox Christian charities,” said Kenneth Myers, chief operating officer of Kegel’s Produce and iron de launches the “Greek Heritage Night”.
Kenneth is a proud Greek-American who runs Kegel’s Products in Lancaster with his mother, Suzanne. When asked about his Greek heritage, he replied: “Greek traditions are legendary and I respect my mother for carrying on these traditions with my boys. »
“I would like to thank Kosta Kombouglas, Souvlaki Boys, Smile Builders, Dawne, my mother, Paul, Koby, Bob Z, the Lancaster Barnstormers staff. It took a lot of help. It was a fun night and it was nice to see a lot of connections made at the game,” he exclaimed.
