Celebrate the fall harvest: a food and wine event

Singing in the streets
6 p.m. Thursday, November 2. Pensacola History Museum, 330 S. Jefferson St. The Pensacola Choral Society and the Pensacola Children’s Choir have teamed up this year for a spectacular Foo Foo event, Singing in the Streets, which will feature the show. off stage and into the community. The program will feature a variety of well-known songs for the audience to perform, from Broadway hits to Disney favorites, all led by the Pensacola Children’s Chorus and Choral Society of Pensacola and musical accompaniment from piano, guitar and drums. Blue Angels Return Air Show
8:00 a.m., doors; 9:30 a.m., show; Friday and Saturday November 3 and 4. Naval Air Station Pensacola. THE Blue Angels Return Air Show comes to NAS Pensacola with the theme “Celebrating Women in Aviation.” The air show is one of Pensacola’s largest events, attracting between 150,000 and 180,000 spectators with an incredible lineup of aerobatic performers and our very own Blue Angels. Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival
9 a.m. Friday to Sunday, November 3 to 5. Seville Square, downtown Pensacola. The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the most beloved and popular arts festivals in the United States. The three-day juried art exhibition attracts more than 200 of the country’s best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic designers, artisans and other artists. Live musicians will perform with sounds ranging from bluegrass to Cajun and blues to jazz and classical. Pensacola Greek Festival
11 a.m. Friday to Sunday, November 3 to 5. Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1720 W. Garden St. The Pensacola Greek Festival is back and better than ever with a celebration of Greek heritage focused on food, music, dance and family fun. Upon arrival, participants will be transported to the Mediterranean with the aroma of freshly grilled meats, the sound of traditional Greek music and the sight of colorful decorations. Pensacola Mural Festival
Saturday November 4. Various locations. The Pensacola Mural Fest was organized in 2022 by a group of community leaders and local muralists who believe that murals can add to the beauty of Pensacola, promote public art and attract visitors. Artists painted the walls of businesses along Barrancas Avenue, between Garden and Main streets, in the weeks leading up to the event. The pairs are as follows: Eniko Ujj – Kingfisher, 1500 Barrancas Ave. ; Drake Arnold – Pearl & Horn, 1504 W. Intendencia St.; Montgomery Welt – Frank Marston American Legion Post 33, 1401 W. Intendencia St.; HAND IN HAND (Andrew and Sarah McWilson) – Posner Marine, 1701 Barrancas Avenue; and Banks Compton – Merchants Paper Company, 1800 Barrancas Ave. Free. Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch and Maze
8 a.m. Sunday to Saturday, September 23 to November 4. Holland Farms, 2055 Homer Holland Road, Milton. Enjoy a farm hayride that takes you on a tour of the farm and out to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include a 3/4 mile train ride around the farm and a new inner tube slide. Other activities include a corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal cart races, slides, rat races, sand pit and a eight-acre corn maze with a children’s maze. Sweet Season Farms Corn Maze
9 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday, from October 1 to November 6. Sweet Season Farms, 2260 Horn Road, Milton. Visitors can spend time this fall making their way through a unique corn maze with plenty of room to spread out on the farm. The pick-your-own sunflowers will bloom in October along with the pumpkin patch. Stella Chalice Painting
11 a.m. Saturday, November 4. O’Riley’s Irish Pub, 321 S. Palafox St. Chalice, the painting will return to O’Riley’s as part of Foo Foo Fest. Participants will paint Stella Artois chalices provided by the pub. All participants will receive a free Foo Foo Fest T-shirt and supplies needed to paint the chalices. Night Movement Festival
Saturday November 4 at noon. Community Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St. Night Moves is an all-day, open-access music festival featuring 12 national and regional alternative/independent artists. In addition to live music, there will also be food trucks, local vendors and brand sponsorship booths on the festival grounds next to Maritime Park. Veterans Week Music in the Park

Symphony No. 4 by Tchaikovsky

Palafox St. Under the direction of guest conductor Brett Mitchell, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky’s imposing Fourth Symphony. From its opening horn calls signaling inescapable doom to its turbulent conclusion featuring a flurry of cymbal crashes and orchestral fireworks, it serves as a “faithful echo” of an intensely emotional journey.
