Greek civil defense will test its air raid system across the country on Monday between 11:00 and 11:35 a.m., it was announced on Sunday, reports ANA.
Civil protection sirens will be activated as part of the Greek military exercise “Parmenion-23”.
The system test will be as follows:
– 11:00 a.m., test of air raid sirens, more than 60 seconds (an intermittent sound of varying volume)
– 11:05 a.m., air raid conclusion sirens, more than 60 seconds (a constant sound of the same volume)
– 11:30 a.m., air raid alert for threat of chemical warfare (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear incidents), for 120 seconds (intermittent sound of variable volume)
– 11:35 a.m., air raid conclusion sirens, more than 60 seconds (a constant sound of the same volume)
