During a speech to Parliament on Thursday, Greek Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Sofia Zacharaki announced the immediate launch of the “Renovate-Rent” program, which provides for the renovation of almost 12,500 currently unused properties for exclusive use for long-term rental. .
This measure appears in a bill from the Ministry of Finance relating to the exploitation of the public domain in coastal zones, submitted to the vote on Thursday. Zacharaki said that its adoption will allow the immediate launch of the “Renovate-Rent” program and the issuance of a relevant joint ministerial decision, as well as the activation of the electronic application platform.
