The Embassy of Greece in Korea organized a special event for the photo exhibition “70 Years of Friendship: Greek Images from the Korean War Years” on February 22 at the War Memorial Museum in Seoul, to improve the understanding of the sacrifices of the home states – among them Greece – to support the Republic of Korea’s efforts for freedom and democracy, ANA reports.
The exhibition was supported by the Greek Ministry of National Defense and carried out in cooperation with the National Historical Museum of Greece. This exhibition of unique photos by Robert McCabe, along with a selection of Korean War photos from the archives of the National Historical Museum of Greece, will be on display at the War Memorial Museum until February 29.
