Train crash in Greece kills at least 38

A train carrying several hundred people crashed into a freight train in Greece on Tuesday evening, killing at least 38 people and injuring more than 80. one of the worst railway disasters in the history of the country.

“Everything indicates that the tragedy is due, unfortunately, mainly to a tragic human error,” declared the Greek Prime Minister. Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in a speech Wednesday evening after visiting the crash site earlier in the day.
