World-famous ice cream shop Anita La Mamma del Gelato has opened its first Florida location in Aventura and word of this delicious dessert is spreading quickly with fans from all over the world lining up to enjoy it. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with Aventura Mayor Howard S. Weinberg, Esq; Vice Mayor Amit Bloom, Commissioner Dr. Linda Marks, Commissioner Billy Joel, Commissioner Paul Kruss and Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce President Gary Pyott meet with the restaurant’s leadership team, including Alon Levi , co-owner and operators of Anita USA; Gor Poronian, Head Gelatier and Stav Shlomo, Store Manager as well as the Faith family, owners of the shopping center. From the Faith Group were Co-Founder and President Keith Faith, Vice President of Construction and Development Roderick Faith, Vice President of Construction and Development Richard Faith and Vice President of Real Estate and Management Roy Faith assets.
Tastings of the incredible array of over 150 unique flavors had guests exclaiming, “That was absolutely the most delicious ice cream I have ever eaten!” » and “I didn’t think ice cream could taste so good!” Anita’s offers much more than ice cream… their mouth-watering treats include fruity frozen yogurts, tangy sorbets, creamy cones and delicious soy-based ice creams.
International stores can be found in Israel, Australia, Greece, Spain and England and there are currently two stores in New York with a third planned there. The Aventura store will be the first in the state of Florida.
