Greece successfully finalized a 13-week Treasury bill auction on Wednesday with bids totaling 1.014 billion euros, or 1.62 times the requested sum of 625 million, ANA reports. The interest rate of the issue rose to 3.90%, compared to 3.72% during the previous auction of the same issue in early August. The auction was carried out among the main dealers on the market and the settlement date is Friday October 6. Traffic restrictions will be introduced in Athens for parades celebrating Greek Independence Day (March 25), Hellenic police announced on Wednesday, ANA reports.
