The revamped version of the Suede Skate Nitro features all of Puma’s traditional features and unique cushioning technology. Featuring reflectors on the sides, the Diaspora version of the signature shoe is not only sleek in design and detailing, but also offers essential and practical safety features for skaters. In terms of design, the functional sneaker takes inspiration from the streets of Japan, with a reflective print on both sides of the upper, evoking the cracked asphalt streets of Tokyo. The Diaspora insignia is stamped on the side of the heel, while the Puma logo remains on the rear. The tees stay grounded in graphics, flexing the cobranding infused with the (literally) street-inspired cracked asphalt design. Take a closer look at the capsule’s offerings in the gallery above.
Puma Japan and Diaspora Skateboards are also hosting a completely free commemorative pop-up to celebrate the launch, featuring live DJ sets, food and drinks.
