In the German legend “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”, a mysterious man kidnaps the children of a town to take revenge on the residents who have failed to keep their promise to pay for his services. The Piper lured the children onto a road called “Silent Road.”
When a school bus carrying nine elementary school students goes missing, a seemingly peaceful community in one of Athens’ wealthiest neighborhoods is left in shock. As the entire country watches, an experienced detective named Nasos oversees the investigation into their disappearance. But the kidnappers only speak to one person and demand a ransom from Thalia, a young journalist, aunt of two of the missing children and black sheep of one of the most powerful families in the community.
Thalia immediately becomes a person of interest, and as she struggles with her strained relationship with her family, her powerful father Spyros attempts to take control of the situation. As the days pass, it becomes clear that the culprits are aiming for something more important than just the ransom. Little by little, the case turns into a time bomb ready to explode, as tensions rise between the kidnappers and Nasos attempts to piece together an impossible puzzle.
