JD Sports, which sells Nike, Adidas and Jordan shoes and The North Face, Supply & Demand and Hoodrich sportswear for men, women and children, is coming to The Mall at Greek Ridge.
Mall owner Wilmorite said the store will occupy space near Entrance 8 that housed Finish Line, which was moved to space closer to Entrance 9, and Hot Topic, which will move next door de Zumiez, also near entrance 8.
The renovation is expected to take about three months, so JD Sports (which also has a location at Eastview Mall in Victor) is expected to open by the end of October, a Wilmorite spokesperson said.
Furthermore, Wing stopan aviation-themed restaurant specializing in chicken wings, has confirmed it will open in late August or early September next to the Loft, which is near Entrance 1, but Wingstop will have its own exterior entrance only.
This will be the Texas-based chain’s first restaurant in the Rochester market. The next closest is in Utica.
Luxury movie chain with restaurants Apple Cinemas has confirmed it will open next year in the shuttered Regal Cinemas after an extensive renovation, Wilmorite said.
Another store located in the mall is Restocked, which sells recycled retro shoes. At the beginning of August, it will move from its space near entrance 6 to another next to Dubai Jewelry, near entrance 8.
