Sacramento State ASI President Calls on CapRadio Board to Resign
CapRadio’s financial difficulties extend beyond public radio. As an auxiliary to Sacramento State, any debt is ultimately the responsibility of the university. President of Sacramento State Associated Students Inc. Nataly Andrade-Domínguez is a member of the board of directors of CapRadio. In a statement to Student-run State Hornet, she called on CapRadio board leaders to resign. Andrade-Dominguez joins Insight to discuss how they are considering the right way forward for the more than 30,000 students on campus.

It’s been 10 years since a single tweet from a Seattle food blogger sparked a series of events that led to the fight to keep the Kings in Sacramento. Sunday evening, a documentary entitled “Game On: Fight for Kings” will air on KCRA and looks back at the journey from the announcement of the team’s sale to the construction of the arena. Investigative producer Dave Manoucheri and sports presenter Michelle Dapper Join us with new insights into the battle between Seattle and Sacramento for the Kings.

Oops ! THE Sacramento Greek Festival celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. The weather is forecast to be good and volunteers are working hard to make this weekend’s festivities the best yet.
