As Subject continues to expand its catalog of intriguing and thought-provoking European series, the streamer has once again reached out to Collider to announce an exciting new addition to its platform. Silent road is a Greek investigative series that chronicles the kidnapping of nine children. Topic shared a trailer for season 1, and we can now reveal it and the premiere date: March 30, with three episodes straight away.
Why would someone take a group of children hostage? This is the starting point of the Greek police investigation, as the trailer reveals. The first big indicator of the kidnapper’s motives is the fact that the children are all sons and daughters of rich and influential people. However, the trailer also makes it seem like the real reason goes much deeper than that.

Of course, the Silent road the trailer doesn’t give much in the way of answers to the kidnappings which quickly turn into a mystery. But it’s safe to say that it gets more and more intriguing, especially when the kidnapper announces that he will only speak and possibly negotiate with one person: the aunt of two of the children in the group. What is Silent road Mean?
The title of the series refers to a German legend known as “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”, in which a creepy man kidnaps the children of a town to take revenge on the adults who have not paid for his services. THE Silent road This is the path by which he lures children in order to kidnap them. This could be another indication of where the series could go, but then again, a lot can happen in 13 episodes.

When a school bus carrying nine elementary school students goes missing, a seemingly peaceful community in one of Athens’ wealthiest neighborhoods is left in shock. As the entire country watches, an experienced detective named Nasos oversees the investigation into their disappearance. But the kidnappers only speak to one person and demand a ransom from Thalia, a young journalist, aunt of two of the missing children and black sheep of one of the most powerful families in the community. Thalia immediately becomes a person of interest, and as she struggles with her strained relationship with her family, her powerful father Spyros attempts to take control of the situation. As the days pass, it becomes clear that the culprits are aiming for something more important than just the ransom. Little by little, the case turns into a time bomb ready to explode, as tensions rise between the kidnappers and Nasos attempts to piece together an impossible puzzle.
