New cases of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza (flu) during the week of July 3-9 remained the same as the previous week, according to the weekly report from the National Public Health Organization (EODY), released Thursday, ANA Reports.
Even though hospital admissions for coronavirus (198) increased last week, overall they fell by 19% compared to the weekly average for admissions over the past four weeks. At the same time, the number of new intubations (5) during the week of July 3-9 increased slightly from the previous week, remaining at the same level compared to the average of new intubations over the past four weeks.
