The government portal (www.gov.gr) has added a section focusing on services for Greeks living abroad, including making an appointment for an online meeting with a consulate official (myConsulLive), ministers of digital governance Konstantinos Kyranakis and Deputy Foreign Minister George Kotsiras said on Thursday, ANA reports.
After a meeting at the Ministry of Electronic Governance, a statement says that www.gov.gr now has a section called “Apodimoi Ellines” which lists the services most used by those who live briefly or permanently abroad . The section is also accessible via the link “Politis kai Kathimerinotita” (Citizens and daily life), with additional online services.
This initiative follows the vote of the draft law on the lifting of restrictions imposed on Greeks to vote abroad, while Kyranakis underlined the priority that the ministry of electronic governance has shown in establishing equality access for Greeks in the diaspora.
