Greek Minister of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy Christos Stylianides and German Minister of Digital Governance and Transport Volker Wissing decided to strengthen the partnership between Greece and Germany in the field of maritime transport, during their meeting Thursday in Berlin, reports ANA.
The meeting confirmed existing collaboration at bilateral and multilateral levels, including within the EU and IMO frameworks. The main objective of this collaboration is to strengthen the competitiveness of the EU, implement ambitious but practical measures on a global scale, undertake initiatives and policies aimed at promoting sustainable growth in the sector maritime transport and to promote environmentally friendly maritime practices.
To promote this cooperation, it was decided to create a “Working Group”.
