“It is decided that the vote for the election of deputies in all polling stations outside Greek territory, by voters registered on the special electoral lists abroad, will take place on Saturday June 24, 2023. The period of Voting in all polling stations outside Greek territory will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time in each country. The Minister of the Interior is responsible for publishing and executing this order.
It is recalled that in addition to the 22,857 voters registered on the special electoral lists abroad, some 7,000 additional voters who were late in registering and who therefore missed the deadline set for the first round of elections which was held on May 21 will be able to vote in the second, bringing the total number to around 30,000.
The increase in the number of people registered on special electoral lists abroad could also lead to an increase in the number of polling stations, since a minimum of 40 voters are needed to create one and localities can now obtain them any further.
