The Greek Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kikilias, requested on Saturday in an urgent letter addressed to all regions and municipalities of the country the immediate development and completion of anti-corrosion and anti-flood works, reports the ANA.
More specifically, the ministry announced that, as part of the decision taken at the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and in continuation of the letter from the Secretary General of Civil Protection, Vassilis Papageorgiou, to the regions regarding the actions necessary for the development and completion of the necessary anti-corrosion and anti-flooding measures which are implemented in cooperation with the regions, municipalities and forestry authorities.
