The National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) opens a large-scale exhibition on the Greek-French avant-garde composer Iannis Xenakis on June 29, reports ANA.
It is considered the largest retrospective of his work on a global scale and is organized by experts from Greece and France, in addition to the EMST – in particular the curators of the Musée de la Musique-Philharmonie de Paris, the Domaine Iannis Xenakis and the Center. for research in contemporary music-Athens Conservatory. It will also be the largest presentation of his music to a Greek audience, organizers said.
The exhibition of the multifaceted artist, who died in 2001, will take place on two floors of the Museum, the ground floor and the third floor.
