Athens police will gradually close streets around Syntagma Square to car traffic on Thursday due to a protest rally and march by pupils, students and teachers against a proposed law authorizing the creation of non-public universities in Greece, reports ANA.
Protesters gathered at Propylea, Panepistimiou Street and will march towards Parliament on Syntagma Square.
