The transfusion of liquefied gas contained in a fuel trail that caught fire early Thursday afternoon in Kakia Skala, on the Athens-Corinth highway, was completed late in the evening, firefighters reported, reports the ANA.
A team of specialists was handling this particular task due to the flammable nature of the cargo of 7.2 tonnes of liquefied gas, it was noted.
Furthermore, road traffic on the new Athens-Corinth highway towards Athens was restored late in the evening after several hours of closure, as was road traffic on the old Athens-Corinth highway in both directions.
