KPot, an all-you-can-eat dining concept blending traditional Asian hot pot with Korean barbecue flavors, is gearing up to launch its newest restaurant in New Jersey.
After signing a deal to lease space at St. Georges Crossing in Woodbridge, the chain plans to open a 12,300-square-foot restaurant, according to Levin Management Corp. of North Plainfield, the leasing and management agent for the mall.
Founded in 2018 in Queens, New York, KPot has over 50 locations across the United States, including six in New Jersey: East Brunswick, Englewood, Jersey City, Kearny, Toms River and Union. It also plans to open soon in Secaucus, Neptune, Lodi, Lawrenceville, Hazlet and Deptford.
EJ Moawad, LMC Senior Leasing Representative, who helped broker the transaction at St. Georges Crossing, commented: “KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is a contemporary concept that appeals to a wide audience. The experiential aspect of this restaurant allows everyone at the table to participate in the preparation of the meal, providing a fantastic opportunity to gather and socialize. We are confident that KPOT will be a traffic-driving destination for the mall and a great addition to the local restaurant landscape.
Located at the intersection of routes 1 and 9 and route 35, the 343,000 square foot community shopping center is anchored by a ShopRite and includes tenants such as TJ Maxx, Pet Smart, Ulta Beauty, European Wax Center, Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Taco Bell, Jersey Mike’s AutoZone, GameStop, Verizon and Comcast Xfinity.
